I like that color combo … I’ve fantasized about an all Red Bezel on a Black Dial GMT.

would be cooler if you put on a red Submariner bezel (high quality aftermarket) GMT doesn't suit the purpose here.

A sub with a 24 hour bezel insert but without the GMT's 24 hour hand just looks weird to me, but whatever floats your boat.

Something Rolex should have already done … an all Red Bezel on either the GMT or the Submariner.
For me, I was thinking the GMT, because the Submariner I align with the Sea = Blue, Black, Green.
Plus, they already have the half red bezel on the GMT … let’s just finish that baby off in Red …
Bright Red Bezel . Black Dial . Bright Red Indicator Hand … OH MY !!!!

I believe only people who know, know what happened to the bezels but a regular person wouldn’t know.

Why anyone one would put what I suspect is a aftermarket GMT bezel on a Rolex sub defeats me completely.

I mean why not just go with the coke? It can do everything the sub can outside of saturation diving. I get it though, I have the sub and like the gmt, but they are too similar for me to get both.

Looks great. This was a popular switch a few years back - turning a Polar Explorer II into a white-dial GMT-Master.
