The current Milgauss has been tested to 60,000 gauss so it's quite a bit above its name. The new movement can't perform to the same level by design. There's no data shown anywhere for the 3230, only claims of improvement. It also has the problems that have intermittently bother it (as opposed to the older movement). I can't find any data on the 3230 magnetic resistance. Here's a rough comparison between the MG and Omega.
