Needed a change (Everest rubber strap did it)

Since I got my 126613LB Bluesy back in the spring I found myself never wearing my 16610LV. It had been my favorite watch for years. Got inspiration from this site and ordered an Everest strap. I know not everyone’s cup of tea, but it really changes the watch up for me.

I see the LV in the rotation much more now!

If you like it, that’s all that matters.

PS … I like it too.

Nice. Glad you like it.

But just my own personal preference, I need a clasp. I have a leather band watch that comes with buckle and I replaced it with a butterfly clasp and it make it much better for me, especially that I replaced it with new leather and there's no wrinkle. But that's not really an issue with rubber.

I’m glad that you like it.

Personally think it makes the watch look cheap.

Looks cool! How's the Everest strap feel?

I picked up a Rubber B and took off a Jubilee. I thought it was great for about 10 days until I suddenly changed my mind and it has sat in a box since. I may go back for sports.

I like it, adds a bit of whimsy and flair to the “tool watch.” I suspect it will become part of your regular rotation.

Everest strap feels good. Soft but not mushy if you get my drift. It fits perfectly and I have no complaints. Doesn't grab hairs or feel like a foreign object other than being different than the SS bracelet.

Reference looking cheap, I agree, it does not do the piece real justice, but it got it back on my wrist. Time will tell for sure... For less than $200US I am willing to roll the dice. Seems like a great option at present and for future vacations. For reference, I bought this watch new from an AD in 2005 and it has had hundreds of hours underwater. No regrets!

Black may be a better colorway.
Retaining the clasp is a must.

Enjoy!
