Screwdriver for Black Bay 58 ?

I've read use 1.4mm but the Bergeon 1.40mm driver I have - has too much slop -
need a thicker blade 1.4 wide is ok but it's not filling the slot well enough to avoid tear out

Use heat to soften any loctite.

Bracelet screws do not clamp anything down so they should never be so tight that a normal screwdriver can't be used.

Which type of tip does your screwdriver have? A hollow ground is usually best.

I've done Rolex & Omega bracelets Heat up is needed I understand that process
The horofix screwdriver I have for those is too large but works well it is a hollow grind
Maybe a precision grind
I'll order inserts from eslinger

If you have a really stubborn screw (from loctite) I like to use a soldering iron to focus the heat directly on the threaded end.

Oh man :(

Looks like heat and oil... and hope she comes out. Are you going to order new screws?

I'd like to order new screws , awkward going to local AD. when watch wasn't purchased there .
Any other way to order factory screws ? I have an uncle seiko 1/2 link on the way - I think they have screws sold separately but not factory

Any mechanical engineers here? I believe screws and bolts of all sizes and shapes are normalized by ISO and ANSI, but does this apply to watch world? e.g. screwdriver blade width, thickness, taper...

Just a follow up.
Esslinger to the rescue ! I had a Horofix driver but only 1.7mm bits for Rolex watch
Ordered 1.4mm Tips for the driver ... waited a few days ,patiently knowing if I used the other 1.4mm drivers I had it'd be a bad day .

Got the tips today 5 minutes later the screws were out ! The fit into slot left little slop giving total confidence in turning screws out .

I would highly recommend anyone with a Rolex , Tudor to get this Horofix screwdriver and xtra tips. ** even worked on my Omega Seamaster.
