Also, I just sold my 124270 as well. I loved that watch, but I also have the 124273 (two tone version) and just picked up a 126900 Air-King. So three similiar watches and one had to go.

I had two 36mm watches and two 42mm watches in my collection and wanted a bit more variety of sizes. I now have 36, 40, 42 and 42 so it covers the bases better.

Really intersting topic and one I'd never thought to discuss before!
