What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Wish I had holes

My wife got me a Sea-Dweller for a wedding gift. I supposedly have the last model before the recent DeapSea came out. I love the looks, but was concerned about wearing a nice watch with my active lifestyle. So I put it on a NATO strap and it has already saved my watch once, since already one of the spring bars popped off. I looked at the difference between the older drilled holes and my newer watch, and the difference between the older shoulder-less spring bars and the newer ones, I have come to a conclusion that makes me want to trade my watch in for an older model or get it drilled. Any advice?

Now all Rolex has to do is get rid of them on their ND Sub.

Then the circle will be complete.

Holes! I like all Rolexes with or without the holes.

I am a well balanced individual!

Let's face it........Most people buying Rolexes today don't ever take them off the bracelet. Therefore, drilled lugs are not a necessity. The typical WIS does like to change it up a bit, and there are those of us that believe in using their Watch the tool that it was designed for. Drilled lugs are a must for me with the watches that I take diving. Hence the reason that I only dive with my 14060M and my A-serial SD. The other 3 stay home when the going gets rough.
