Trade Cellini Date for Day Date Ref 18238?

So, newer to the collecting bug, but pleased with the collection which includes a Ref 16610 Sub (2005), a Cellini Date Ref 50515 (2016), a vintage Patek Ref 2533 (1954) and my newest acquisition, a Lange 1815 Up Down Ref 234.026 (new). The Lange has quickly become my go to watch.

So here's the question, prior to buying the Lange, my Rolex AD was working on servicing a Day Date Ref 18238 (1990). It's in great condition and I'm now wondering do I effectively trade the Cellini for the Day Date. Two very different pieces and I love the Cellini, but between the Patek and now the Lange, the Cellini is gonna struggle for wrist time, whereas the Day Date is a different watch with a very different look.

What say you?

I'd make that trade, especially if the Day Date is in great condition.

I’m actually surprised you didn’t already make the trade happen.
If this is a straight trade it is definitely a no brainer.

you already got AL&S and PP dress watch, no need for the room for a Cellini.....I'd move it for a Day-Date which is more classic watch to own
