126334 thoughts?

Thinking of purchasing this locally. The seller says he got it appraised/validated at a local jewelry store and the jeweler put “circa 2010” because he couldn’t validate date due to random serial number. Obviously a 126334 will be later than 2010 lol. Seller says the plastic wrap is still on the clasp. Naked watch. $9700. My plan is to meet at my jeweler and have the back opened up.

The date magnification looks a little small - and that case is definitely rounded over - compared to my DJ41. Not only on the outside edges but on the edges next to the end link. Also - an older DJ41 (like before 2019) would have the "30" instead of the crown at the 30 min mark.

And the fact that they don't know that 41s weren't mate till way after 2010 is unsettling.

I'd skip this one.

if steel is premium grade 904L , may fetch higher scrap value rather than just 316L cheap steel. use that as a basis to lowball seller.
