Oysterflex Question
For those of you who own or have owned a watch with an Oysterflex strap, how durable, by way of appearance and functionality, is it? I understand the titanium-alloy internal construction, and I have tried one on and like the feel, but I am curious as to everyone's experience as to how the strap as a whole holds up to regular wearing and usage. Thanks in advance for any input.

The only thing I noticed that after 5 years my newer watch (2022 Daytona 116515) strap is a bit more matte looking, so the older OF after 5 years became slightly worn and looked slightly glossy looking. Weird observation, but did not affect performance at all. I have no worries that my current OF will deteriorate over time, or that anything else will happen to it that I could not wear it, it is that solid. |

This topic comes up every so often.
Correct sizing is important. Too tight and it can dig into your wrist. And I do use the easy link when required in Summer. Sized correctly, it is very comfortable. If it’s tight, you’ll end up with marks on the skin where the fins are. Durability? Rolex designed it to last. I have had no issues with mine having worn it to the beach, pool, every day etc… Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
