Yes that occurred to me as well. Any of the hard to get watches can get funnelled out the back door for much better returns than selling them to existing customers. The same could be said about me too - I could say thanks a million and flick the watch to an auction site but this suggests that a dealer and a loyal customer can work together for the longer term. It's nice to see that the system can work.

I am not his best customer but I buy regularly and send people his way who have bought diamond rings.
