Throw away your watch, and perfect your sniffing technique.

An interesting theory of how dogs tell time...

Very interesting article Blansk!! I’ve always said my dog must have a Rolex inside him.

Not sure I buy the theory but it's interesting.

Our two dogs would wait at the door when my wife was flying back and driving 60 miles from the airport.

About 5 minutes before she arrived home after a week, they would go to the door and sit.

My theory on that is they "felt" the excitement from me at her return, but it's still baffling.

Yeah, I don’t necessarily buy it either.

My dog knows exactly when it’s time to wake up every morning. No smells have changed at that time that would be consistent and he is the first one up every day.

Norma knows exactly when the kids get home from school. She waits here for them to arrive at 3:30.

My two cats know very well when it's time for me to feed them and eagerly wait outside the front door. They protest loudly when I'm late actually.

Dogs like most animals rely on their sensors that is how they communicate/prepare, sense danger, humanity rely on technology and/or instincts, they are miles ahead of us.

They observe us all day everyday they know us more then we know us.

To you it”s not entirely about the smell it’s about the behaviour, as well and the moon/sun, they are earths saints..
