Kermit, no doubt. The most beautiful of tool / everyday watches. Plus, the green is iconic with Rolex.

Apples and oranges. Not a fair comparison, both are killer watches for their particular model. You cannot go wrong with either.

Many here having trouble understanding what watch they own.

Kermit == 16610LV… that means an aluminum insert, not ceramic.

Pick an early 16610LV with flat 4.

After owning both I found the CHNR a bit too warm on tone for me. The LVC is bright and perfection with the new case/bracelet. The contrast between the green ceramic and gloss black dial is stunning.

I just like simple divers over the more complicated GMT. I don't travel across time zones much and really have no use for the extra hassle when setting a watch which I've not worn in rotation for a while.

I went with the rootbeer......and not an ounce of regret. Love it! Next up either BLRO or Starbucks, whichever becomes available first.

Both beautiful pieces but I’d go Root Beer - stunning piece in person

LV for the win!
The large numbers on the bezel of the GMT ruin it for me

CHNR if you have a collection that includes a diver.

LV if it is the one SS you have

I currently own the CHNR. I sold my 12 to my SA as they would not let him buy one and I had the Hulk. Since then I have sold the Hulk as I really love the newer dimensions of the 41 sub. Plan to get the 12 again. I love the warmth the rose gold brings. It is less in your face but yet elegant but for me, not an everyday watch.

GMTs and Subs are my favorite Rolex models. GMTs normally win out in a competition. But between these two I would go Submariner. I owned a CHNR and never liked it compared to my BLRO and BLNR. So off it went......

Tough call I have them both.

If your goal is to have them both, get the cermit from grey market now. Try to get the Rootbeer from your AD

I prefer the Rootbeer over the Kermit/Starbucks. I do have the Kermit/Starbucks and it is great. But I have still been lusting over the Rootbeer which I will hopefully get in the next 3 months. In my opinion, the Rootbeer is the best looking 2 tone Rolex sports watch ever with the Bluesy being a distant 2nd. Having said that, there is room for both in a collection.

Had the root beer, have the LV right now. They can co-exist, but you have the best of the two already.
