Not at all. Anything >= 36mm cuts the customer base IMHO.

Or…perhaps just side-by-side compare a DD40 to a GMTII or even a Sub 41. |

Considering Rolex size claims vs actual a 42mm Daytona would probably only be 40.5mm. Of course there would be a constant barrage of comments claiming the new Daytona 42 was a “monster”, “dinner plate”, blah blah etc etc.

Would you like Rolex to increase the size of the Daytona?
I think current size fits the bill.

Yes.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a new Daytona with an actual size of a modern Submariner. Not sure I’d want it to be as big as a SkyDweller… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I hope for no changes at all. I am finally due to expect white stainless Daytona sometime in 2023 and I want it exactly as I have been dreaming of for all these years !! ..coming from a 7.5 inch wrist guy! I have the black dial steel Daytona and am fine with how it wears and how it looks on me from a distance and so on…. I think people hyper focus on wrist size and not enough on shape. Wrist SPAN is what is more important about how a watch looks on someone IMHO…. I have muscular arms so my 7.5 is very drastically different looking than a overweight wrist at 7.5 if that makes sense
Anyway not what the thread is about, back on topic I really hope it is not changed at all.. If they want to add a dial here or there for TT or some of the gold ones.. discontinue a few whatever !! Just please leave the SS ceramic alone !! I NEED the white dial, it’s about the only thing my collection is missing and yet its the one I have been after the most. It will be a very exciting day is all I can say! |

No, because right now it's versatile enough to be used as a ladies' watch.

Why would Rolex change arguably their most sought-after, iconic watch?
It's not as if they're not selling. Even in a down market, they're way over retail on the secondary market. It ain't broke, so don't fix it. |

I'm suggesting a more narrow bezel would allow for a larger dial with no increase in overall case size. Omega calls the Speedmaster a 42 but without crown guards it is a 40.

The subdials are large enough they are just wasted negative space inside to meet some other requirement such as an aesthetic design goal vs legibility.

Would you like Rolex to increase the size of the Daytona?
I would like them to increase the amount they make.
And to answer your question…….No |

No as it is perfect IMO. All the other Rolex sport model cases are a bit bulky Sub-GMT2-Exp2-SD43-Deepsea. The Daytona case size has stayed the same from 1988 to now for a reason. And it doesnt need a date wheel either LOL!

No need to increase the size, just make the lugs symmetrical on the SS (and full YG).

Another vote here that the current size is perfect.
I would like to see the option for a ceramic bezel on the full gold models though Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
