The rotor in a bubble back has a steel rotor that pivots on nickel plated brass plates, with the proper staking tools the holes in the plates can be closed to take up the side shake and stop the rattle. It doen't work in all cases just depends how long it's been doing wearing out the pivots if it has been too elongated you may be sol without replacement parts which are as scarce as hen's teeth Rik the watchmaker
