No car here. Just a (non-electric) bicycle and a public transportation card. So... yeah!

Fun fact:
As my truck value decreases my watch value increases so it all works out I guess.

Haven't had a car in about a decade. More trouble than it's worth. Public transportation works well enough.

Ha! Absolutely. I drive an '08 Honda that's worth about nothing and have a Sub that doubled in appraisal value since purchase.
Love it!

Great thread......
Its a nice change to have an anti-flexing thread, as opposed to the more usual flexing ones.

Next one could be is you watch collection worth more than your house :D

Nope car costs more and always will. If I have the means to buy a 6 figure watch or close to it, better believe I'm gonna have the car to back it up LOL.

Absolutely. I don't need more money tied up in depreciating assets. A modest older Toyota. Reliability is true luxury in my household. I'd spend more if Toyota charged more lol.

I would say this in not necessarily accurate. I used to only lease vehicles because you could buy down the money factor with multiple security deposits and basically make 10-12 percent interest at the end of the lease. So I had a E53 AMG with nothing down and my lease payment was 900 bucks. Then in three years I get 8k back as they return the security deposits and I get a new ride. So it is relative as I wouldn’t want to own that car and pay 1500-2k for car payments. When I traded it though due to covid world buying made more sense so I bought my SUV.
