Would a TT CHNR make sense in this collection?
I know it's up to me but I still love to hear opinions and thoughts so please share yours.
So I've recently acquired the d-blue this month along with the tudor blackbay Gmt which I really like. Long story short I'm considering to get another watch to pair with my fiancé. Hers is the 28mm dj chocolate dial. I'm realizing that my collection is quite sport heavy and I'm feeling I need a dressier or smaller piece 40 or less. However, a leather strap watch isn't something I can wear often here in Thailand (I've even parted with my Zeitwerk for this reason). So now despite on the list of the TT CHNR I'd love to hear your thoughts if the CHNR makes sense? Or to get a different feel I'm better off with a TT dj40 etc? However, at this moment another steel model is strong no ATM. Also I've tried on the full RG CHNR and It's the first time I prefer a TT over full gold surprisingly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

While I love the CHNR, in this particular situation you may be better off with a DJ41 tt (rose/steel, your dial of choice) or possibly a YM tt with the chocolate dial

Don't worry about what you "need" in a collection. Buy the things that make you happy. What's the point of a dress watch on leather that you wear 3 times a year?

The TT CHNR is a beautiful piece. I love mine. Go with your gut; if it sings to you, get it.

TT CHNR is gorgeous for sure but it might be better to have a RG Day-Date.

I am with you, liking the TT more than the full gold.
The CHNR is for me the most beautiful GMT ever made.

I love my CHNR and feel that it looks better in TT than gold. If you decide to go all gold, IMHO there are better options (DD)

The TT CHNR is a good addition to any collection. It's unique and it's visually rich and clever.

CHNR is great! However, if you want a closer match….go after a chocolate/brown dial. Perhaps YM TT or DJ. I’d go YM TT for a closer match, but still a professional/sports model.
