BLNR grey market prices

I was looking and waiting for the right time to buy but I may have missed the opportunity

I noticed prices for the BLNR has shot up quite a bit.

Maybe this trusted seller knows something about a discontinuation that we don't?

Opportunity missed, sorry friend - this grey seller definitely knows something you don’t. Why don’t you ask them what they know?

Be patient. I heard Rolex is rolling out an enthusiast program that will guarantee below MSRP watches for "superfans" who submit audition videos demonstrating their "superfandom". Face paint, tattoos, over the top outfits etc. I am making a triplock crown hat to wear with my belly painted like a bluesy dial. Bring it on!

If you cosplay as a BLNR maybe that will demonstrate enough loyalty to the brand to get one at MSRP, genius!

Pure speculation, probably due to the BLNR being released 10 years ago.

Maybe people are more likely to hang onto their watches for the next couple months to see what is discontinued/released at W&W, which limits supply on the grey market, therefore raising prices.

That's my thoughts anyway.

The "dip" has certainly passed, been tracking this GMT for many months. Even a beat up 116 series is 15k.

But... some say the worst is still ahead. If that's true the watch market will get 'better' while everything else falls apart.

This was a good video.

The segment (all 20 seconds of it) on AP was very telling...

How much did the BLNR go up? $500? $1000?

Haven’t seen any trades at rebounded prices, albeit I am not tracking that reference. There is a Batman on moda, w/ card and hangtag for $14.45 unsold

Asking prices don’t mean jack. It’s actual sales that matter.

2k. It was 19k at the peak, went all the way down to 15k. Now commonly 17k

Ok thanks. I think a few models have ticked up just a bit in the last couple weeks. Not uncommon in the run-up to Watches and Wonders.

I think the peak for the BLNR was $25K though. I bought mine in early 2022 and I recall that was what a BNIB was being listed for.

You may be right - I haven't been tracking for very long. Compared to 25k the current 17k seems like a bargain.

I have an Invicta that identifies as a BLNR. It’s currently transitioning, but it won’t be long until I have a fully original BLNR for only $200. We haven’t decided on it’s pronouns yet. The waiting is killing me.

A bloke on the internet said they're going up, Chrono24 says they're going down.
And my bedside table lamp thinks they're not moving.

The truth is out there :)

So for the last couple of weeks, the greys have lifted their asking prices and are pushing the narrative that values are going up.

Here’s a couple of examples from last year of “buy now, prices are going up”
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=853768
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=879033

Sounds to me that are trying to push up sales and selling prices. Let’s see what happens over the next couple of months. Will this lead to a new FOMO and values rising? Or will buyers refuse to play ball, and the greys will have to drop their asking prices again?

Time will tell…

Current 126710BLNR trends.

Cool interactive price tracking tool, zero effort:
(Show high, low, mid)
The low point was a couple months ago

Also look at watchrecon, zero effort:

Yeah I remember the BLNR trading at low to mid teens a couple months ago. Lately though they've been listed in the upper teens.

Of course the price will rise this time of the year because its a guessing game again since WAW is coming soon in march. Its all speculation what will be dc just like last yr. After waw then lets check the price again.
