Shant in Pasadena, the same Shant mentioned on here at Four Crowns?

In looking for some vintage service options, I came across Four Crowns being a recommended option with mention of Shant specifically. There's no personale info on the current Four Crowns website. Shant's Clock and Watch Repair in Pasadena comes up when you do a search (and mentioned on here), and I'm wondering if this is the same Shant recommended at Four Crowns?

They are two different people with the same fairly common first name.

Shant at Four Crowns is Shant Der Boghosian whereas Shant in Pasadena is Shant Pambukchyan.

Thanks for the replies. I tried LAWW but haven't got a response from them, so I'm exploring a couple of the other local recs I've found on the forum. LAWW, ABC Watchwerks, Four Crowns, and Shant's in Pasadena have all received praise on here and are near me.

FYI... I spoke to someone at Four Crowns and they told me that Shant passed away. They are still operating without him.

Thanks for the information. I did not know that and am sorry to hear it.

I've been to Shane's Watch Repair in Pasadena several times, mostly for small things like regulating my vintage watches, swapping some bezel inserts, etc, all of which were done on the spot in a few minutes. I have not tried any full service with him yet, but I would trust him to service my vintage watches. He seems like a stand up guy and pretty knowledgeable.
NO he has not passed away, I guess the is a different Shan't.
I also have not received any reply from LAWW recently (you may need to call them directly), but would probably consider some of the higher end pieces for a service and refinish especially, expensive I know but heard good things.
He also has nice selection of curated vintage watches.

For comparison - LAWW quoted me $100 to swap a GMT bezel insert and a week turnaround. Shant did it in a few minutes and about $20 bucks.

Sorry and my condolences to Shant with Four Crowns in DTLA. He used to work at Rolex BH service center along with some of the other guys there.

I have used him for one of my chronographs about 10 years ago.

Yes, in another thread( Watch link section-Best Rolex Repairs in LA) I recommended Shant Watch & Clock in Pasadena for vintage .

I recently had Shant in Pasadena service a couple of vintage Rolex from the 1920’s.

So far, they are keeping good time.

BTW: I have been to LAWW in Pasadena and they are in an industrial building on Walnut. Could not seen anything from the lobby, like the watchmakers working which I personally like to see. But does not mean they are not good, and others have said they have been usually more expensive for a repair quote.

Shant in Pasadena is an amazing, standup guy. He’s the one who regulated my watch and his prices are fair. My favorite watchmaker in the LA area.

So far, they are keeping good time. If they are any issues, he will do what he can to make it right, which to me is part of good service.
