Rolex Ref 4119 18k

Hi all,

Just snagged this Rolex Ref 4119. Comes with what appears to be the Original chronometer cert. Having a hard time finding anything on this ref. Anyone able to provide more info? Would also appreciate another set of eyes for any red flags. Any help is much appreciated.

Have a great day.

Sure you saw this one one sold at Christie's and this one C24.

38mm was amazingly big solid gold piece for outbreak of WW2 (when most were 31-32mm) - not in my wheelhouse but they fetch pretty strong money

Great looking watch OP, looks like the dial and hands are all original which is a plus. The dial has a bit of foxing on it but that can usually be cleaned up with some Rodico during a cleaning.
