Dwellers

I caught the Rolex bug a few years ago after getting tired of Breitling. First was a Sea Dweller SD43 and I have worn that watch as a daily for the past 4 years. A year after purchasing the SD43 my AD offered me a Batgirl in 2020. Never really connected with that watch and it sat in the safe. Last year I stumbled into another AD and was offered a Sky Dweller Blue face jubilee bracelet and flipped it the next day for a 20K profit. I know, this is frowned upon but I could not resist the urge to cash in. Welp, I regretted that decision soon after and began the hunt again for another SkyD in the exact config. Picked up another one at MSRP through a buddy and I am keeping this one forever. Going to sell the Batgirl and the irony is that once I do that I will have paid basically nothing for the SD43 and SkyD. Gotta love capitalism, oh and dumb luck.

That's the game we're in. Lots of printed paper around so no hard feelings. Keep dwelling in good health.

Well, this post shows people who flip or have flipped aren't all that bad and are, in most cases, really very nice folks. They did not create this crazy market and to react to it is perfectly normal. Glad you got another one. Looks great on you.

Not the best picture. This is the day I bought my blue SkyD and wore my SD43 MK1 to pick it up.

Congratulations. One hell of a watch. And you did well out of it, so a nice added bonus.

The few watches I flipped from an AD (wouldn’t say flipped, but sold when I realized the profit), are the ones I miss the most and regret selling.

Some say it’s even rarer than a Panda Daytona, but definitely harder than a Batman. You see the Batman/girl landing left and right on Reddit for example.
