I know people sometimes say they are not crazy about two tone watches but I remember in the mid 70s (I think), a friend who ultimately introduced Rolex watches to me was wearing a TT Date Just. I can’t think of too many watches that are more iconic to a brand than that one…

Can’t see ‘new’ on chrono for anything like that, let alone March 2023 stickers.

Even if you can, you’re still minimum third owner of a used piece with less 100% certainty on the provenance and no additional history with the AD.

Like I said, apples with apples.

The point is that watch is readily available at or below retail. Your “reasons” to not buy one are excuses, nothing else. Gonna wear a stickered watch? Can’t have provenance checked at a watchmaker? And if you have a bit of experience you spot a fake with a loupe after 2 minutes. Or you could just ask your AD - hardly a tough watch to get. Hence you would flip it at a loss.

You did say ‘…below retail…what are you waiting for’.

You’ve changed position to ‘at or below’, introduced flipping at a loss and you’re saying my logically reasoned argument that you aren’t comparing like for like is ‘excuses’, all of which makes it difficult to continue the discussion.

Just say you can’t afford the watch instead of writing endless nonsense.

You’re in the Uk, so is the OP. Go to the AD and pick it up. Don’t forget to post a pic!

Will be a while me thinks - considering you’ve been on here for 4 years and all we got picture wise in your 1200 posts is granny’s old gift form the dark ages.

Watches are not investments.Buy what to like and enjoy.it can be steel TT or gold.Dont worry about depreciation.we all buy new cars which depreciates 20% the minute we walk out the door. We still buy it.

Grand family? Seriously amigo - if you want to participate at least try to write a coherent sentence (Google translate?)
