16200 check please!

Hello all.

Working on a trade for this U serial (1997?) 16200 datejust. Link of pics https://imgur.com/a/a24dflh

A few things:

Cyclops seems “off” to me. Magnification is not what I expect, hour hand appears corroded. I don’t see many of the non tritium dials in this configuration/year. Any neo vintage experts that can help clear this up?

It’s a beautiful watch but am trading a basically new Tudor BB Pro for it so want to be sure!

Thank you!

I don’t see an issue.

Does the movement check out?

Online deal I’m unable to check the movement unfortunately!

Maybe it’s just the angle of the pic it’s just the date doesn’t appear to be as magnified as in comparison models online or my ‘21 (lol of course…). Just wanted another set of eyes on it.

Could be an aftermarket crystal, corroded hands are normal for vintage. If they werent corroded then I would be suspect.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. The magnification is definitely not typical Rolex which is what gave me pause on it.

Thank you!

Its an online sale, you buy the seller, not the watch. Is the seller a known seller with great positive feedback?

Not a known seller - part of another group. I’m most likely going to pass on it though. Thank you everyone.
