Please double check me not sure about lettering on dial?
Please check me its a 1999 16700 its got A75 serial number but it worries me and I appreciate the brain trust here long time reader and newish poster thanks for any help. Sincerely

The way the rolex e and perpetuals u lines up seems these are different throughout the years. Seems the rolex…lower left x and perpetuals a line up better thus indicating a service or earlier year dial. I am using the gmt 16700 thread and gmaster/masterII thread in rolex reference library. thanks so much I am trying to live and learn Sincerely Roy

That type of dial is from around 1998. See if it matches up with the serial number on the watch.

Thanks it sounds good, feels good, and all the numbers bracelet and watch seems to match and are year appropriate. I am taking it to a watch maker and getting an appraisal today or tomorrow. Thank you for the info its very much appreciated Sincerely

Thanks for the help to follow up my trusted watchmaker liked it…said the case finishing was not good but that was it. Its the real deal. sucks I spent so much and then lost my ability to objectively asses the watch i was to emotionally and financially involved. Anyhow my local watchmaker did and now i have the warm fuzzys.
