It’s been polished but looks good to me IMO. Love the 16710! One of my favorite Rolex reference! Good luck!

Looks like it has had a polish, but probably only one. Even lugs, nice bracelet. This is a great watch to buy and wear!

Looks great. Curious whether that's a RSC polish or an independant?

I like it, but I prefer the earlier holes case models.

It has undergone a slight renovation which has not compromised anything. It looks perfect!

The watch looks fine and is a wonderful reference.
I’d find out if it was fully serviced when it was polished and when that was.

It looks like a virtual twin of mine. I can't see anything amiss from the photos.

Worry less about the "it's been polished" newbie crowd. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a proper finish reapplied to a Rolex unless of course it is not applied properly.

The GMT you have selected looks very nice based on the photos you have presented. Good luck with the purchase.

It is polished, but it's a job well done.
Seems like a home run to me. Now go and snatch it up!

Remember to post some pics when it's on your wrist :)

It has been polished and it’s an okay ish polishing job. You can find better examples but you can find a lot of watches in much worse condition!

I would NOT buy it based on these blurry pics. Not a single straight shot of the dial? I don't understand the "looks great" comments.

I definitely wouldn't turn down the watch because of these pictures. They're not the best pics, clearly not professionally shot, but they're good enough to see the watch is in decent shape.

Everything else depends on the price and the seller. If you trust the seller, the price is fair based on the condition, age, service history, accessories included, etc. I would never let a few amateur pictures stop me.

Also, you can always request more pics.

It’s been polished. Edges don’t look crisp in some photos. That detracts from the overall watch for me. We have seen numerous watches that have been gently polished and they look almost new. Crisp edges, defined bevels.

Polish job looks okay and looks uneven. I'd keep looking for a better example TBH.
