93150 end link stamp question

Hi guys,

This photo is of an end link from a 93150 on a T serial 16570. It looked fuzzy to me and not printed deep and clear, so I assumed it was a replica replacement band only, with genuine full sized sub buckle (which all looked great).

I also have attached a photo of a 93150 end link from my sub about the same year and how sharp it looks, notice the 3.

Anyway, could this fuzzy stamping be correct as well?

I’ve seen a few post d for sale on the forum and they sometimes have this fuzzy sloppy look, idk?

Thanks, Shaun

Here is a photo from my photo archive. Personally, I don't see any problems with the other 501B end link.

Yes I can see that your stamp looks the same style as the 93150 marked on the bracelet in question. I suppose there were different tools used to stamp for different bracelet production runs. I agree that the 501b marks look fine, but I just find it easier to authenticate a bracelet that has the deep and sharp stampings like my bracelet shown in the last photo.

Thanks, S.

I do not know if Rolex used both round and flat threes in the 93150 stamp, I have only seen flat as far as I remember.

the rounded "3" in 93150 is commonly found in fakes from what i've gathered. I have also only seen flat "3"s so far.

Just discussing this on VRF, so thought I'd do a resurrection of the question here.

There were round top threes on 93150 and 78360 (end link not clasp) esp in 90s.
