My New Sub finally on my wrist!!!

Today I took Delivery of my new TT Sub with a Champagne Serti Dial. I am very excited as I have been wanting this watch for the last 5 years, but I could not push myself to pay the price. Finally, I just said screw it and jumped right in since I got a great deal for an AD with 0% financing for 12 months. So here it is, I hope the pictures show up!!!

I have a dumb question:

My TT Blue Sub has a GOLD coloured date window background. Fits the Gold "trimmings" on the watch.

Your Champagne Dial also has. Fitting.

What would be the correct date window BACKGROUND colour for a slate, "silver" or "grey" Serti Dial with Diamonds and Sapphires?

Gold or grey or white???

Hint: If I ever change my blue dial for a slate Serti dial, do I have to exchange the date wheel, too? I mean a Gold coloured "blot" on that steel coloured dial would not look too good, would it?

Thanx, Hermann
