Two tone sub blue or black

I’m going back and forth between these. The blue looks great but the black face seems more classic and the gold on the bezel pops more. Thoughts?

Blue is iconic and the dial is a bit special

But I still prefer black

I picked this up last week.. No regrets, and finally happy with what I have in the small collection..because of the bluesy.

I’d definitely go with the black without thinking twice.

Two tone I’d go blue, full YG I’d go black. Let us know which you pick!

This was always how I saw it as well but it also really depends on what you’re looking for in the watch OP. The TT blue is bling/flashy whereas the TT black is more bling/classy…as classy as you can make a sub anyway.

Cross post here :

So ok here is my own opinion of which may be different from others.

I have owned the newer iterations of both having the black only a week or so, and ultimately went with the Bluesy.

Here is what I felt each time I look at them on wrist….

While wearing the LN (black), “Now I truly understand what the stainless steel craze is all about” (itch for ss sub feeling)

While wearing the LB (bluesy), “Now I truly understand what the bluesy craze is all about (no itch for ss sub feeling or any other rolex anymore)

Hope that makes sense but this is what I truly feel…. for now that is :)

Wow… That is a very tough choice. The Blue is absolutely stunning, and has been an iconic model for years. You can’t go wrong with the black either. If you are tallying up votes, mine would be black.

But, as people have pointed out, you can NOT go wrong either way

I’m on team black. It’s classier. I always feel the blue is a bit loud and I don’t like how it goes with most things I wear. The black looks great with everything.

Both look great. For TT I'd go blue and full gold I'd go black.

In a multi-watch collection I would go with the blue. In a smaller collection I would go black. I think the black is timeless and a little more sedate, if a TT watch can be, and as a daily it would work better for me.

My preference is black. It’s my daily beater. Its look is timeless and you never get bored of it.
Blue is very beautiful too and looks more special than black but it doesn’t suit me no matter how many times I tried it on. More suitable for the younger age group in my opinion.
Cheers
