Red wine shopping / SBGE245
This incoming more than makes up for for the day's hard work.
Serendipitously ran into a serial number which is symbolic to me. Paired with the lion logo on the caseback, it's the icing on the cake. Some quick and dirty shots as I'm too tired for anything better (sorry) right now so please bear with me until further notice... I'm planning to review this one as soon as I get the time and moods for it because I believe there are a few misconceptions about the 44mm GS cases and dare I say about the bracelets, too. Overall a very pleasant surprise and an intoxicating amount of horological beauty

And, for those who say a perfect fit is impossible with the GS bracelet, well, I'm pretty happy with the result! 6 1/2 links at 12 // 6 links at 6 on a 7,3" wrist PS: Bracelet screws are tiny...

You should try working on the screws on a quartz GMT. They're practically microscopic.

Congratulations Basil. I've had the perfect fit on my GS Quartz for the last five years, and its the most comfortable modern bracelet I've ever worn. The screws are small but they're only shorter than usual, not tiny overall, and will still take a regular bracelet screwdriver you would use on a Rolex or whatever.

As for the sizing yes, the screws are short and that's where difficulty lies. But it's really no big deal with some good lighting and a magnifier. I was thinking of having the AD size it as I lack a decent bracelet screwdriver but there was no way I'd wait until Saturday so I used...a whatever
