Hey, we just finished! 11.30pm here in Melbourne... Steve and Lee both took pics... Steve can give a full report, but a quick summary...

1. Food was great - that 1.2 kilo rack of pork ribs (appprox 25 lb's) lasted about 1 minute! mouth-melting, mmmm
2. The conversation was very entertaining, lots of watch talk, not just Rolex, and some very knowledgeable members
3. The company was very friendly, warm and without pretense - a lot like this site

The big question is Gedanken, where were you friend? I was looking forward to meeting you Sir James. Maybe next time...

My humblest apologies, John. I got snowed under with work yesterday - to cut a long story short I needed to complete a couple of things and flick them over to the rest of my team last night, and so I couldn't make it.

A trip to Sydney is definitely on the cards, so we'll definitely catch up at some point!

No need to apologise. There were some tales told, but nothing that can be spoken of publicly.

Yes, we will catch up in the anon, and share an ale or two...

I'm back in Malaysia now. It was a fun evening indeed!

Pics yes, will process them soon, along with the other 1000's of files from my whole visit home.

Next time we should have a bigger and badder GTG.... Melbourne or Sydney!

Here are some photos, remember I was drinking alcohol

This one was out of focus because I didn't realise I had to take an action photo, because those beef ribs were flying off the plates and into the mouths, just mouth watering

This one has better focus, it was a great crew

Sorry lighting conditions were not the best and we were having too much of a good time to concentrate too much on the photo quality

Medium rare T-Bone. It was pretty good, but I can't wait to get back to that place to taste those beef ribletts again, speaking of which I might just go back tonight

What a bunch of posers showing off their Rolex watches...wait a minute one of them is me

Lee's wife, Sue is a WIS and this watch looked much better in the flesh than in my photo

Thank you everyone for attending it was an awesome evening. Next time we will get the room next door (a little quieter).

And did I mention those beef ribs

Lee, after having been back for a second time, I can confirm that the ribs are delicious. YUM YUM (no smilie for that )

At the GTG Brandon loved those ribs, man one minute the bowl of ribs was full, the next there were just a pile of bones on his plate

I hope you enjoy that Gerry

I thought my steak lacked a little flavour. It is almost impossible to beat Vlado's for flavour. But the ribs did make up for that.

It was a great little gathering anyway.
