Is Pepsi back to mk1 bezel again?

I recently noticed that the latest(around May-June) 126710BLROs have the mk1 beze instead of mk3. Take a look at this one in sale which was sold by AD in June this year. The red seems to be very pinkish

Could very well just be the lighting. A lot of the BLRO bezels can change hues depending on the angle and lighting.

My thoughts exactly. Most likely the lighting.

Could also be that Rolex is using up its stock of reserve Mk 1 bezels if, as some threads suggest, there have been production issues with the insert.

Lighting until proven otherwise. I could show pics of mine looking both brighter and darker than that.

It's the lighting. I compared my GMT meteorite (3 months old~) vs my buddy's who just collected his today and it is the same.

Isn’t this just a variance in manufacturing from one batch to another if there is a slight difference?

This happens, although I suspect the significant contributors to the appearance of the hues are the lighting in the photo and the settings of the monitor on which it is viewed.

Not quite sure on this one. Purchased mine from the AD 2 weeks ago. Mine is darker and in different light.

The LV MKII bezel had a bulletin sent out by Rolex to its authorized dealers, yet people still refuse to believe there has been a change. Good luck trying to prove that a new batch of Pepsi bezels is making the rounds.

It's the lighting. I have a hard time believing Rolex just decided to use older bezels because they were just lying around.

Rolex is usually very particular about the smallest of things, let alone old bezels and dials vs. new ones.

Well, half of TRF believes Rolex has paused BLRO production because their AD is a “straight shooter” and told them so.

Has anyone actually produced a copy of that bulletin and shared it here on TRF?

did you actually see the bulletin? I won't believe anything about the lv mkii unless I see the bulletin myself.

You have the intelligence to know that if someone were to post this printout, a lot of skeptics would claim it's fake, rendering it pointless. So what's the point? There are many members hailing from various corners of the globe, who have joined this forum over different years, actively participating through hundred and thousands of posts and contributions that reference the same bulletin. Do you actually believe that all of them are colluding together to trick you regarding a green bezel?

It was just a question. I understand the answer to be “no”.

Anyway. We can agree it’s a beautiful watch, be it MK1, MK2 or MK87.

First all the MK stuff only exists in internet land in the real world may be just slight colour variants in firing the ceramic inserts like most all ceramic items.Try going into a Rolex AD and asking for a replacement MK,1,2,3,4,5,6 insert.

Based of the recent releases - AK 21mm bracelet, same for the sub. Is this also the route for the GMT2?

I mean, would anyone refuse a BLRO because the shade is slightly different?

I love the pepsi posted on the official website but the real purple/pink bezel is a hard pass for me.

From what I have seen, the colors on the BLRO can tend to vary and this is something I find very fascinating about the watch, especially when combined with how light can also make the colors change. So I think there is some batch-to-batch variation and this could be an instance of it, and it may appear more pronounced due to the specific lighting.
