The 40MM League: Black Sub or Batgirl

Please help me to choose between Black Sub (116610LN) or GMT Batgirl (126710BLNR) on a 40mm

What else do you have in your collection?

Either will we’ll for a one and only, but I always prefer divers to GMT’s so if it’s a first for you, I’d go with the Submariner Date

Had them both - both have big lugs which I don’t like, but would have to go with the classic 11LN, but strongly recommend the 12LN.

the batgirl! the best blue colour bezel among rolex models, and the jubilee bracelet is both eye catching and comfortable to wear.

I chose the Sub, albeit the 12 version.

The BLNR was nice, but it was no Submariner.

Dislike the fatter lugs of 116610LN so would pick 126710 BLNR

I think the sub is more versatile and a bit more classy. I think the GMT feels louder with the large numerals and contrasting bezel colors.

126710BLNR by a mile. This comes from a current 126710BLNR owner and former 116610LN owner.

If you have to choose I think the Sub would be a watch you could wear everyday day and love but miss out on the flash of the Batgirl.

Whilst the Batgirl might be a more special watch for special occasions but might become too much for every day use.

Have a Batman and Sub and I tend to wear the sub a lot more, but the Batman is always pulled out for the special occasions. Think the jubilee bracelet will amplify even more.

Both however are fantastic watches!
