Anyone else prefer their Pepsi bezel like this?

During the rare occasions I am not tracking a 2nd or 3rd time zone ;) I have found I like to turn the bezel with the red on top.

Maybe will drive some OCD people crazy, but to me the red on top gives the whole watch a little more pop due to the contrast which I enjoy.

Not to mention, red on top is closer to the actual Pepsi logo!

I set my 24 hour hand to local time, so I prefer the bezel in the home position.

I would say both the bracelet option and bezel position are wrong for this reference.

Yeah, I don't know what it is. I prefer the jubilee on the BLNR but somehow doesn't look quite right on the BLRO. To each their own!

I have purchased both the BLNR and BLRO on jubilee over the past 5 years, have since traded both in. I vote for BLNR on jubilee and BLRO on oyster. The BLNR bezel is more subtle and so can pull off the beautiful and decorative jubilee bracelet. Whilst the BLRO bezel means there is so much already going on, the simpler oyster bracelet works better, leaving the blue and red as the main event to catch the eye.

That’s what I think anyway, may add the BLRO on Oyster at some point to verify the theory!

LOL ...Could you imagine if Rolex actually made a reverse Pepsi Dial with arrow indice on the red, It would have a 20 year waiting list.

Yes. I wear my BLNR, CHNR and 5 digit Pepsi like this. More because the triangles are at opposite ends.

As a commercial pilot I am moving the bezel daily to reflect local time. GMT is extremely important to me also and easy to read when needed.

On mine, the GMT hand is set on... GMT. The bezel is set depending on which 2nd timezone I want to track. Travelling ? Home TZ. At home ? Some foreign countries where colleagues or family members live.

What is the utility of owning a GMT if you aren't using it to maximize time-zones?

Well strict utility maximization isn't too fun, is it?

I see both colors no matter where the bezel is set, so I prefer the default 12 setting.

I usually leave mine at the 9 position.

Growing up it was my fathers watch, and he always liked the city of London and Europe in general, and traveled there a few times. He always left the GMT feature set to London. I think additionally he almost may have felt it was worthless not to keep it set at at least one other time zone if he had a GMT watch. That being said it was always there (even seized there when I acquired it).

That being said sometimes I put it at 12, but typically it is at 9 as I’m just used to seeing it there for most of the life of the watch.
