Seriously, am I the only one who noticed the flagrant lack of symmetry of the date window? There is no chance that Day-Date is real.

I feel like you can get the dd from an ad too.

Unless true vintage I’m not a fan of trading something I got new for something used. Your watch Is also discontinued while the DD is still available.

Finally, your AD should be willing to make you a very similar deal for a brand new one.

Nope. Just wait it out, I’m sure your AD or if not another AD can get you the DD in due time. Full PM watches are increasingly becoming available.

No way I'd do that trade. You could never replace that Daytona from an AD while the DD is still in production and will likely be available from an AD at a slight discount.

It’s probably stolen. Anyone can get a real box for a stolen Rolex. No way would I do that deal.

For such a high value watch the seller should be providing genuine proof of authentication. It smells off. I think you're doing the right thing.

Well you are profiting due to the hype around the DaytonaC, but knowing you did not paid retail for it would as others question the provenance of the DD. Is the seller a known grey reseller ?

Meh, could just be the angle.

Also, OP said he got the pic from Instagram so I assume it’s not the actual watch he’d be buying.
