Was there 2 different greens for 16610LV?

I'm looking at pictures online, and it looks like there are 2 different shades for green for the 16610LV. Is this my imagination and lighting? Or did rolex offer 2 different greens on the 16610LV?

There were a few shades of green bezel and bezels have faded over the years too. Take your pick.

I think there are several shades, but under 2 main colors: green and olive. There is no reason for the variation, like with everything else Rolex :)

Much like the dials that are made in 3 different factories now all owned by Rolex over production years there could be slight variation to fonts colour etc, exactly the same for inserts whether aluminium or ceramic.

Well crap! I didn't realize that. Now I need to do some more research. I actually like the B3 bezel! The lighter green.

Yes, there was a Mk1 and they went all the way through to Mk11. I've seen them all and they were all different. The Mk4 that I saw was very clever, it would look black at night and turn green in daylight.

The watch I'm looking looks like it has a service dial based on this article. I'm trying to get the SN so I can see that it falls into that outside random range where this dial is standard as well. I believe it's a 2010 kermit if that makes a difference.

Okay, I've tracked down a Kermit. It's a V serial number, so it dates out to about 2009. Does that sound right? Looking at the link from above, the SNs don't seem to run to V. Also, the dial looks like a D6 service dial. According to the article it is possible that some Kermits received that dial randomly from Rolex. I suspect it was the "parts bin special" where it was going end of life and the just cobbled what other extra parts they had left.
