I got mine in December 2018...I am really on the fence as to whether there really are two variations!

It’s funny but I believe somehow I was meant to have this watch, as self centred and preposterous the idea is.

Example; Yesterday I took a little WRUW shot with the Watchtime cover and coincidentally.......both dates 28...didn’t notice until today
Looking good....I've ended up with both as I couldn't wait so paid grey for the mk1 then low and behold my AD can through so picked up the mk2....now got to decide which version I prefer...1st world problem and all that.cheers

You know which way i would go

There is a post just know on the MK I vs MK II thread asking someone who has both to have them read by a spectrophotometer at a print shop.

Have some free time?

100%, there are 2 versions. If you’re ever in Birmingham, ask the Goldsmiths’ manager to show you his one. It’s much darker than my Mark 1. Got mine June 2018.

Hi, I just wanted to get forum's view on this Pepsi (July 2018) if it's definitely a Mark I bezel.

Pls see pictures here:

The thing about the Mk I bezel, simply from looking at these pictures alone, is that it does indeed seem brighter- but at the expense of looking a bit "purple."

Try and figure out what this one is:

What's the general consensus until when (date on card) the Mark1 was produced?

So what is this considered to be? If in indirect sunlight the blue shows fairly well. Seems navy blue inside.

Looks similar to my 2019 and I would call them mark2………if you don’t see pastel colors it’s not a mark 1……now which one is prettier is all personal preference

Mine carded as April 2018. I’ve compared mine with a friend’s from July 2020, and there is no doubt a color difference.

Just stumbled upon this thread. Really cool. I have been this close to picking one up on the secondary market simply because I have been waiting for over three years now for one from an AD and am growing tired of the wait. If I do, I'm now debating which year to aim for.

Picked up a Mark 1 Pepsi, although I wish it was the Mark 3 personally.
