I never understand these comparisons… they are such different watches. Surely you must have some idea says if you’d rather have a chronograph vs. a time only watch.

Why do you think you'll have an opportunity to buy these watches at retail with no purchase history (skipping the line in front of a throng of people trying, at least in the case of the 5167, to buy at retail and who have long purchase histories)?

Unlikely some AD is just going to hand you $20-30K in premium value.

Aquanaut is over-hyped, looks and wears like a toy watch to me.

I love the Daytona, but have to go Patek here.

If you end up changing your mind, it's a lot less expensive to go from the Patek to the Daytona than the Daytona to the Patek.
