Icon5 Batman Oyster Bracelet - Am I Overthinking?

I bought this 116710blnr and seller represented this as “mint” condition. At 12 o’clock between the end link and permanent link, there’s clearly a lot more spacing / play on one side. Because of that, the top of the bracelet lies crooked on my wrist. And while my wristbone definitely plays a factor in how it sits, you can clearly see the spacing differential even when off the wrist.

Is this par for the course on a 2016 GMT? It’s bothering me and I may sell it if this isn’t normal… but if others tend to see the same on their wrists and I’m just being a nervous nelly, then I’ll shut up and smile. It’s my first Rolex so pardon my ignorance.

Pics below.

There is a bit of wiggle but I don't have an Oyster bracelet with that kind of gap, including my BLRO which came on Oyster but now lives on Jubilee. I couldn't say for sure but it doesn't look right.

It doesn't look crazy, but it's hard to tell from the photos as most are not shot perfectly straight which will obviously skew the perspective.

Check underneath the case to see if there are indications of the bracelet being removed. Scratches under the lugs etc.

If it has, it's possible the spring bars used to aren't the originals or just not perfectly seated.

Otherwise I don't think you have a serious issue.

I know most here will laugh at the level of scrutiny, but I remember feeling extremely nervous about ever aspect of my first Rolex, down to the box sleeve and packaging. If it really eats at you bring it in to RSC to see if its within specification.

I’m not seeing anything unusual. Make sure it’s sized correctly for your wrist, there’s usually less links on one side.

I recently bought a used and older GMT 116710LN (2012) and the bracelet is much more better than your Batman. The gap in yours looks terrible (sorry) probably due to excessive usage??

Move it up your wrist, off the bone and I bet it will sit better on your wrist.

Maybe IF a link was taken out it was the one closest to the case (Opposed to the clasp)
OR
Your wrist is crooked

Go to your local AD for the 1st and doctor for the 2nd.

Yeah, if I move it on my wrist it can go away assuming there’s zero pressure on the wrist. But there’s got to be some level of pressure. There’s no indication that the bracelet was removed. I took it to an AD who acknowledged there was more play/gap on that upper right hand side, but said it was within manufacturer’s variance. It still annoys me which is why I wanted to see if others see the same thing on their watch. And it sounds like that’s not the case - so maybe I got a dud which sucks. I’ve had terrible luck with Rolexes =]

I think it is the angle of contact on your wrist that makes the link appear to have more space. If you take it off your wrist and flex the link out more strainght vs tilting it up, you might see what Im talking about. My 116710LN oyster bracelet seems that way to me except on y wrist it looks fine. Im thinking its the shape of your wrist.

I haven’t worn my 126710’s oyster in a while, but that looks off to me.

For proper analysis:
- Take it off your wrist
- Take pics from above, and from each side at 90deg angle
