1675 Gilt Dial PCG - Opinions?

I’m on the hunt for a gilt dial 1675 and have found this example which I love the look of…

https://bulangandsons.eu/products/ro...n-guards-w2130

It is a 1965 Gilt Dial with PCG, serial 1.1m.

Can you guys see any red flags? No box or papers. 27k Euros.

Would really appreciate your opinions.

Here are my stream of consciousness thoughts, please don't take these as being dealbreaker criticisms, just things I happened to notice. The dial is nice and glossy, which is a major plus, and I like the insert. I don't really like the way that they have detailed the case to remove scratches, but it's still thick and could be refinished more professionally if you chose. I noticed that most of the lume plots are flaking, which could be a concern. I don't believe that the #55 end-links are correct for the GMT, so the bracelet may have been added for the sale. Final piece of advice: wait for @springer to weigh in. :-)

For me, those models are best evaluated in person. There are too many shenanigans going on with those old, vintage, gilt watches for me to offer any opinions on a couple of photos.

lume plots look a bit rough and curved hands on 1965 I am not sure about but would defer to experts for that one

Seems fine, but is a well kept "standard" gilt 1675 now trading at $29k USD? I guess, but thought we were in a buyers' moment.

Also, as Springer observed, gilt dialed watches must be evaluated in person.

Over polished case, degrading lume, wrong hands, later insert and wrong bracelet.

As all above points made....

It's okayish (for the right money) but no more than okayish, and tbh I'd be at c £18-19k on this with wrong hands, 55s, insert, plots etc, even if laquer stable/vaguely uniform...

Hands will cost as much as £1-2k btw!

If you really want that reference from that era I’d wait. You won’t be happy in the long run.

It’s “nice” but also very average.

can you expand on the curved hands comment? I am in the learning process on vintage watches and just curious what that means. i am looking at the hands and they look flat. but then again that is why i am a beginner. thank you in advance.

What shows that it’s a later insert?

The font, it should be a small triangle insert on that watch.
