Do you have one of those uprights with the clear canister so you can see your debris accumulate as you're vacuuming? I've always wanted one of those. I have a Miele, which works great, but there's something about watching the dust swirl around. Especially here, were half of the stuff I vacuum up is ants and other bugs.

No just one of those cordless stick ones where the stick is red. Couldn’t find a red dial watch so had to settle for that! I can still see the dust swirl and I wouldn’t be disappointed with a Miele. Heard that they’re very well built?

How did this thread go from LVMH buying to AP to bugs in a vacuum But I do admit it is strangely satisfying watching the critters swirl round and round in our Dyson

Interesting post, despite the apprehension I feel there could be some benefits of having a powerhouse like LVMH behind AP. Whatever happens, I very much hope AP release some dressier pieces, smaller-sized offshores/CODES.

It’s perhaps a sign of the times?

Personally I have both a Dyson and a Miele but, jeez, that’s so so boring I want to cry

Mea culpa. As an aficionado of the under-appreciated art of vacuuming, I couldn't help myself. For those of us who don't out-source this task, having an opportunity to discuss the superb machines available to us today wasn't to be passed up.
My apologies to the OP.

This is the kind of radical innovation that can come from creative brainstorming.

I wouldn't be too sore about it, the new LV watch they released last month was much nicer than I would have thought.
