Icon2 SEIKO 5 Sports Super Cub Limited Edition

Any Honda Super Cub riders out there on TRF? Statistically there should a few, I guess, since it's the most-produced motor-vehicle in history, hitting 100 million sales in 2017.

Anyway, Seiko's latest collab . . .

I think it's cool that they've done this, a very fitting collaboration.

I much prefer these to the Rowing Blazers. Don't like those at all, original or latest versions.

I'm not surprised, there are probably many Super Cub fan clubs across Japan with enough Members to snap them all up on Day One. I suspect they might sell more slowly worldwide.

Talked to my friend again. There was only 300 for JDM. USA issue is 6,000.
Seems strange that the would do that.

Is that USA only or rest of world? I'd imagine it would be a big seller in Seiko-crazy Thailand, where there are Super Cubs on every street. Not seeing it here in HK yet.

That's good. According to the US page I linked to in the post, the US will only get the black one in February.

I just remembered that James May rode a Super Cub across Vietnam in a Top Gear Special and called them "the greatest motorcycle in history." He raced one across Tokyo, too, in another TV show. I wonder if he'll get one of these.

Well I decided to pick one up.
I just like the color combination too much I think it is the best looking one they have done yet.

I don't know if the suspension could handle that load.
