New to Me Day-Date 36

Hi all,

I have been fascinated with the Arabic numeral radial-dial for some time now. I have also wanted a Day-Date for some time now as well. I thought I wanted a Day-Date 40; but tried it on recently at an AD (dummy display model) and it was too big, too much for me. I had reached out to a few resellers (Bob's Watches and DavidSW) but they didn't have any nor could they commit to sourcing one. I was perusing WatchBox's page (rarely check their Rolex as their inventory tends to skew older models. Based on SKU and the fact Tim Mosso's YT page had just put out a review of the watch, I believe it had just been listed.

I do admit, I thought I would get a DD on a President's bracelet, but with an older model, was concerned about stretch in the bracelet so getting it on an Oyster wasn't a dealbreaker for me; and also like the idea that this version isn't as common (smooth bezel and Oyster vs fluted with a President's bracelet).

Congrats it’s a unique daydate. Very different from the traditional Roman/Index, fluted, and president bracelet.

First of all, that’s a perfect dress watch size for you. Second of all, that’s a very cool reference and indeed different from the “usual” DDs. Finally, congratulations!

I happen to like the 118208 and 118209 very much.
Perfection!

Great watch! Fan of the DayDate but not a fan of the president bracelet. So, I like it.

Congrat!

How is the fit with the oyster bracelet and hidden clasp, snug/perfect?
