Small Incoming!!!

Hi everyone,

Firstly I wanted to thank everyone on this forum for all of their stories, support and generally good banter.

Secondly, I wanted to share an incoming which my wife was able to arrange for my 40th. It’s not until January but she had been in contact with our local AD from which we have a number of other Rolex pieces from.

This watch has been on the top of my list for a number of years as it suits my personality. I don’t like the flash or ‘in your face’ pop of colour, call me boring. I knew that it will take a while to get my hands on one but kept in contact with my AD both via email and in person.

Unbeknownst to me, my wife had reached out to my AD and has been asking if they would be able to get me a watch from my list in time for January.

Earlier today we has visited the mall where the AD was located and I wanted to stop by and show face as usual. While trying on some exhibition pieces(Polar, SkyD, YM) for size, my SA brought out a box and I just sat in silence.

When she opened it, it was THE watch. I couldn’t be happier. The SA did apologize for timing(few months earlier than my actual bday) but did say they get less deliveries closer to end of year into the new year as well.

Thanks all for the warm wishes. Haven’t taken it off my wrist yet, might sleep with it on just because why not.

Definitely a smaller profile than my Deep Sea.

After this stunt, I owe my wife the 40mm YM. Will have to start bugging my SA about it.

Thanks!! I’ll have to check those out. I did just order a grey strap for it, will ‘park’ the bracelet once it arrives.
