New guy here
New here, and just wanted to make an introduction. I’ve been into watches for a few years and fell in love with the SD43 took about nine months from the AD. Previously was wearing a movado, I received for a graduation gift. I’ve got a handful of citizens and appreciate and wear them all but it’s mechanical for me all the way now. Thought I’d share some pics and say hello.
Had a couple questions, and who better to ask? Does anyone here have any hands on experience with the Cellini prince? I love this watch and it being a “different” kind of Rolex. Square case, display case back and precious metal. Would love to add one for appropriate occasions. But have no idea how it wears. If anyone has any experience with this watch I would love to hear it. Also, has anyone found any found any end links for a steel sky-dweller. I do like to change the straps. I think it adds uniqueness to the watches and saves the factory bracelet and clasp from normal everyday wear and tear. Old love to fit a blue or gray suede strap to the skydweller, and prefer the finished esthetic of a strap with endlinks. Also anyone know of a good place to source straps made for a folding clasp and not a standard buckle you see everywhere. Originally posted in the wrong forum. Mods feel free to delete duplicate |

Welcome to the forum! I've nothing to offer but just wanted to say hello. I vote a hard NO on the baby blue strap but if you like it, you should have it. Hoping you get some useful info from the people here.

Welcome…
I have a Cellini Prince 5443/9 and like it a lot. With it being a high polished white gold case it can be a scratch magnet. So I tend to wear it for dressier occasions instead of sportier ones. I think the newer Cellini’s are less susceptible to scratches due to their sleek case design.

Welcome!
No experience with the Cellini but it's a great watch and underrated. That said, in that category I'd be looking at a JLC Reverso. |

Thanks for the replies, I went to dental school at iu in Indy.
I know the strap for the ym isn’t for everyone, but I love it. It’s our office colors and love the blue. The strap is a horus24 strap. I ordered 2 of them and used the half with out the holes fitted to an aquanaut style clasp. I got lucky it fit without any further modifications. I ordered a blank one but they sent one with a patek logo on it. I’m fine with it for now. I have a strap from abp concepts for it. The blue is darker and doesn’t match the ym color as well. I’m sure I’ll swap it in at some point. |

Welcome to the forum! You have a great collection. I, like you, love rubber straps. My Daytona is on a OF style strap with Smarty end links. My Bluesy is on a Rubber B with a deployant clasp. They really change up the look of the watch.

Welcome! Nice watches. Dentist and Purdue undergrad here. Love my SD43. Still on a bracelet, but did buy a blue and a white rubber strap for my blue Seamaster 300M. Fun summer change up.

Welcome Dr. Dennis!!
I love that rhodium YM you have!! I really think it's one of the more underrated references in the current catalog. I feel the same about the RG YM on Oysterflex. |
