Do the watch series letters tell you when a watch was made?
I recently purchased a watch from an AD. It was an R series xxx/500. Does that mean it was actually made in 2015, or that the date of manufacture started in 2015? I think this watch was introduced late that year. Is there a way I can tell the manufacture year? It's a PAM620. Thank you!

The “R” should tell you the year of manufacture.

B=1999 C=2000 ... R=2015 I know you can look this up on the interweb: https://millenarywatches.com/panerai-serial-numbers/ I've always liked this one, for the older models: https://www.paneraisource.com/milles...ordering=refno Shall we guess what happens after Z (2023)? |
