116500 dial swap

Hi

Looking at buying a white panda dial. Need to make sure it’s the real deal. I know you guys are very knowledgeable and want to see if on these initial images there is not something obvious. I’ve asked the seller for more detailed images.

What do you think.

You could ask a picture of the dial after exposure to UV to make sure it is chromalight

Tell tale on this will be hour markers and thickness of ink on sub dials and word Daytona. You'll need a really good pic to spot it.

On replica the white ink isn't thick and black bleeds through. The word is also just a tad orange vs red. The hour markers are rhodium steel and harder to polish round on top like the real white gold ones so they appear flat.

Few close up of my 6500. Remember there are few variations in dial.

Buy the Seller! Check out his feedback. If an eBay seller, you want him to have 100% with a lot of transactions. I won’t buy from anyone who has a less than 100% score.
