Rolex 1500 1970 Tiffany Dial, Real or Fake?

Hey Team,
Have a unique situation. 1970 Rolex 1500 with 2million serial. Was flagged by unique color and non lume appliqués. I did some digging and found that Rolex did have non lume options for the Asian market in the 70’s, is this true? I also have found other red “burst” dials. The T Swiss T seems close to the 6 appliqué and the date numbers seem possible suspect though I can’t tell because I’m not an expert. What are your thoughts?

Here are some pics.

Watch: What is "watch"?

Hard to say, really. I can say that the dial minute "hash" marks appear to be quite far from the rehaut. This seems "off" to me.

The dial looks every bit GEN to my eyes, but it looks to belong to a smaller diameter watch, likely not original to this case.

The "Tiffany" text is another question altogether. Very tough call.

Not familiar with that color of dial as being factory on a 1500. Most likely aftermarket.

I agree and the dial pad appears to be a copy of a genuine dial but not up to OEM quality crispness.

heaps of issues with this dial.

no lume "dial" with lume hands is another red flag.

put it back on the shelf
