116610LV Cyclops AR Cluoding/ Damage?
Hi All,
I've recently noticed clouding under my cyclops. It almost looks like a pooling of AR coating that creates a dark/ discolored spot in certain angles (a darker cloud with sheen like you'd see from an oil spill in water). Has anyone else experienced anything like this? The watch hasn't been damaged or exposed to water recently. I'm assuming I'll have to bring this in to a service center for a crystal swap. Will I also have to do a full service? I also wanted to ask if service crystals are no longer marked. I wouldn't want to do anything that damages the integrity of the watch, being that everything is original. Thanks for your input! |

Service crystals aren't marked anymore. It's $130 or so as part of service.

I can't really tell what condition your crystal is in via your photos, but if they will do just a crystal replacement it would be $235 according to my service book. If they require a service, the crystal itself is $135.
Also, as mentioned, crystals are no longer marked with an "S" for service crystal. |

I would not be surprised if Rolex insists on a full service, in order to find out what caused the discoloration. If it were my watch, I’d want them to do that.
