Rolex 10% price increase in Japan
From Sept. 1st, a uniform 10% price increase in Japan. I have not heard of price increases in other countries. Probably due to the weak JPY.

We’re having a price increase…what do you think? Rolex watches are so cheap at mSRP in japan. I recently bought a RG YM 40 and it cost me $23,400.00 so yeah you can imagine they are desperate to adjust the msrp….

Interesting. I wonder how much currency values impact individual markets.

I would expect a similar US increase before year end. Rumor was August but that is almost over.

Makes sense, the Yen continues to become worth less (and less). :(

I bought my 114060 from AD in Japan in 2019 for ¥766,000
Yesterday a Submariner would cost you: Today, it is: Pretty crazy really in just 4 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think they will sell any to tourists. I went to Japan several times this year and no no no no no no to tourists all I could experience. Perhaps it was just my bad luck. But they are happy to sell you any Tudor if u like it.

The only way to stop this craziness in prices is just stop buying, that's it.
Market is regulated by end users, money are in your pocket, it is up to you how you spend them. We don't really need these watches, no? If you decide to buy then stop complaining :) No one buying watches for the next 3 years, lets see how the prices will unfold |

Just keep going as Rolex are now and let market forces determine prices and availability imo.

Yes there is a Rolex shop in HND, but it was closed the last time I was in the terminal. You can "look it up" but I was surprised on the shop's open hours, considering how many late departures there are. In my case I think I was walking through around 7pm and shop had been closed for a couple of hours. At the time, the open hours was something like 0730 to 1700. NOV 2023 |

The Haneda airport Rolex has officially closed now. When covid hit and the borders closed, that location was a honey pot for inventory. Cases and drawers were full during the hype. You were able to e-mail them for inventory and they would hold it for you for months until your next flight. There were so few travelers that I'd be on 787 with 10 other passengers on key routes. They were also reservation only and under construction so they had no foot traffic.
