26240CE :: too much to ask at this point?

Need some advice from the experienced folks here.

Planning on stopping by the boutique to discuss this year and trying to determine what could be next.

Full disclosure - not wanting to go the 11.59 Chrono route at this point (despite my earlier posts). My wife does not like the look of them and I frankly have a lot of "round" Rolex watches, so it's a no for that.

Lusting after a ROC especially in Ceramic as Id love to have a mix kf metals. Currently we own a 15500, 77350, 26420 and a 38mm 26715 Rose gold

Is that an entirely unrealistic ask…?

You have a good purchase history with a nice mix of watches: ladies 34, ROO etc. You should ask for the ceramic piece and see what they say, I think it's reasonable to expect one at this point, they may hint you need 1 more purchase. Let us know their feedback

I got mine with very similar purchase history. So as a minimum it's not a non-sensical ask.

Your purchase history should be enough to get it as your next allocation.

I got offered one with zero purchase history. Only a 15400ST purchased years ago and not from the same place so got to be worth an ask!

Definitely worth asking and within reach imo. Do you not want to aim for an openworked?

That’s crazy. Never heard of this being a first. Would love some background.

Is that purchase history all from an AP boutique?

No doubt. Your journey sounds horrible. Just read your experience / thread. Sorry to hear this.

Yes worth an ask. I was offered one without asking and took them up on it; this is with purchase history of a dozen+ boutique purchases

Can’t hurt to ask. I’ve seen people with less history get one.

I bought an RO back in 2016 when on honeymoon abroad. Around 2018 I got it valued by AP and asked to be put on the list for an openworked RO. When things started to open up after Covid I started visiting AP once every 6 months and expressed interest in the ceramic when KH was spotted with it but was told it would be hard. Fast forward and year and on a visit they had one to show me and told me mine was next which was about three months later.

Tremendous. Looks like the stars aligned for you. Cool story with the honeymoon too
