My first rolex..expo or submariner?

hello guys!firstly a big hi from my side as its my first post on this forum!

i am right now using an airwolf, tag heuer carrera, omega seamaster bond and bvlgari and have finally decided to go on and buy my first rolex!

i am big sized watch lover and by far i think the only rolex that would suit me which is 40mm or above atleast.

so guys any suggestions which is the best buy in around 3500 dollars(i am talking used here):)

i am eyeing an expo 2 or submariner..any other ideas in that price range!

thank you in advance.

If it would be your first Rolex then get the Sub. You won't regret it. Its the most recognizable rolex sports model.

can't go wrong

If those are the two watches you have in mind, you can't go wrong. Just pick the one you like to look at more. There are more Sub's out there, so the Exp II may seem a bit more unusual.

To me, the Sub looks a little larger on the wrist.

Welcome to TRF.

Yacht Master 's are is the same size as the Submariners. If you like large you may consider the Deep Sea also.

Either, I have both and love both. If you go with the Explorer II get the white dial. However, if you like big heavy watches the ExpII is not for you.

I'd be looking at the EX2 or an LV Sub.
